Jessie Omer is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Nashville, TN. She got her Master’s degree in Human Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University and her Bachelor’s in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. After graduating, Jessie joined Nashville Counseling Associates and has been working with young adult women, adolescents, and children. Her passion lies in supporting individuals through personalized care and meeting them where they are.

Jessie uses a client-centered approach in her therapy, blending techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based therapies. This integrative approach helps her tailor her support to fit each person’s unique needs. With children, she likes to use play therapy and creative methods to make the process engaging and effective.

“I believe that one of our deepest needs is to connect with others and to be truly seen and heard. For me, the therapeutic relationship is key—it’s the foundation of healing. Building trust and creating a safe space helps my clients open up and grow. It would be my privilege to support you on your journey.”

When she’s not working, Jessie loves trying out new restaurants, going to concerts, and traveling with her husband. She’s a big fan of the outdoors and can often be found with her dogs, Fury and Dakota, or on the pickleball court.
