FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
If you’ve never been in therapy, the prospect of setting your first appointment may be intimidating or overwhelming. It’s normal to feel a bit anxious!
Rest assured that our first priority is to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and welcome. During the first appointment, we will take the time to get to know you and what brings you into counseling at this time.
DO YOU BILL INSURANCE?
At this time, we do not file any insurance claims and we are considered out-of-network for all insurance companies. However, many insurance companies will still cover a portion of out-of-network counseling costs and we are happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork.
You can check your coverage by calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:
Do you cover any portion of out-of-network outpatient behavioral health/counseling?
How much of each therapy session is covered?
How do I submit the necessary paperwork for reimbursement?
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Clinicians' fees vary depending on experience, credentials and specialities. NCA does offer a limited number of reduced fee appointments based on need. Please contact us for more information.
